I first met Aurelia sitting next to her at the Hope High School Sports Banquet in the year 2000, where I saw Tom, once again, so many years after graduating Hope in 1953. These are dates that shaped my life—by Tom who taught me how to jump hurdles and instilled the courage and confidence to get past life’s other obstacles, and meeting Aurelia, extraordinary wife, mother, and helpmate. Seeing them both that evening gave me such great pleasure and the realization how fortunate I was to have been influenced by two wonderful people who loved me in ways I had never been aware of. I cherish their memory and offer my humble thanks for the blessing that brought us into each other’s lives.

Our deepest sympathy to all Aurelia's loved ones. Your Mom was a very special person, who when younger, was very active in St. Joseph Church. My Mom, Gladys J. Ponichtera, (also Polish) who passed in Sept. 2015, and your Mom were competing on who would live the longest; obviously your Mom won. God's Peace to all of you.

I so enjoyed visiting with Rally two years ago. Her cheerful outlook on life never changed. Our condolences to the Russell family.
We will be unable to attend services; we are visiting in California.
