ASHAWAY - Lorraine (Courchaine) Kenyon, 68, of Collins Road, Ahsaway, R.I., died peacefully at her home on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard D. Kenyon.
Born in South Kingstown, R.I. on May 27, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Z. and Althea J. (Burdick) Courchaine.
Lorraine had been the Office Administrator for the First Baptist Church of Hope Valley for many years and was still working at the time of her death. She had been an active communicant of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Wood River Junction, R.I.
She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Kerry Courchaine, of Alton, and Wendy Courchaine, of West Warwick, R.I.; and her brother, Kevin Levesque, of Island Falls, Maine.
A celebration of Lorraine's life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 1 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 322 Church St., Wood River Junction.
Burial will be private in Oak Grove Cemetery.
