I haven't written on here for a while.It's not because I don't think about you every single day because I think about you all the time.I remember when the kids were younger and how you would drag all the Christmas decorations up from the basement and you spent hours stringing the lights and going up and down the ladder and how adorable the house looked when you were finished!It looked so cute.Then you had to take it all down a month later!You made Christmas so special!I missed you so much,we always were together at Christmas!I just want you to know you weren't forgotten,you will never be forgotten!I love and miss you more than words can say!

Dear Mom,
I just don't have the words....I miss you so much. It just keeps getting harder and harder trying to deal with the fact that you aren't here. I try to keep myself busy hoping that I'll find some peace but it doesn't help. I want you here. I want to make up for all the times that I screwed up. I want to be able to show you how special you are to me. I want to see you smile and be happy. I want you to know I understand how tough your life has always been and that I appreciate everything you did for us. I'm sorry that it took you leaving for me to realize that just a little more from us would have made so much of a difference. That's something I will have to live with forever. I love you, mom and I miss you terribly

Dearest Bettie,it's been 4 months since you went to Heaven and my life has not been the same without you!There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about you!Growing up,I never imagined my life without one of my sisters!I always thought I would have you in my life,never imagining I would have to say goodbye forever! I hope you know what a special person you were to so many!You gave so much to everyone while going without yourself,I wish you could have enjoyed life more,you deserved it more than anybody I know!I cherish the time I had with you,but my heart is breaking having to live without you!I will never forget you,never!I love you and miss you more and more everyday! Dear mom, My heart hurts today, not that it doesn't hurt every other day since you left but today more than ever. I'm trying to fake my way through the day for everyone else but really all I want to do is curl into a ball and scream and cry. I want to press rewind on life and go back to when i was small enough to be carried in your arms and then hit pause so we stay like that forever. I want to go back to every moment I had with you...all the moments I took for granted thinking that you wouldn't be leaving us so soon and there would be so many more to treasure. I want to scream at all of these people who have mom's and don't see how lucky they are to be able to spend this day with them because I would give anything to have one more with you.

Happy easter mommy. Missing you so much today. Remembering all the wonderful easters we had with you....coloring eggs, decorating the tree outside with the plastic eggs, the lawn ornaments, and your one of a kind home cooked dinners. You always made the holidays special for us. Looking back I realize how hard that must have been at times to do so much with so little...but you did it. You scrapped and saved and made sure we would have a memorable holiday. Now that's all we are left with...memories. I know you're here with me in my heart but it hurts so much to know I won't see you today. I just want you to know I'm trying to keep with your traditions and to make sure it's all about family. I love you mom, we will be together again one day and I can't think of anyone else that I'd want to see first when I get there

2 months have gone by since you left, but I still grieve as though it was yesterday. I still long to hear your voice, hold your hand, hug you....to tell you how much I love you because I know I didn't say it enough while you were here. I think of you every minute of every day and lay awake crying over memories every night. I still pick up my phone wanting to call and talk to you, and ask for advice, or just to hear how your day went.
