Wayne Albert Stoner, 60, of Wyoming, RI, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. He was surrounded by his wife and children as he entered into Glory. He was the beloved husband of Rebecca Angela (Gengarella) Stoner. Born in Westerly, RI on May 15, 1961, he was the son of the late John Carle and Martha Eleanor (Hannuksela) Stoner.
Wayne graduated from Chariho High School in 1979 and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Electronics in 1981. He was a Field Service Engineer for Mission Critical Services. Wayne was a Deacon and Treasurer for the Wood River Baptist Church. Wayne loved spending time with his grandchildren and getting his daily ice tea’s from Dunkin Donuts. His sense of humor and quick wit will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Besides his loving and devoted wife Rebecca, he will be sadly missed by his children, Courtney Bjork (Paul), Julia Stoner, Andrew Stoner (Jenna), Kara Hinson (Jim) and Aaron Stoner. He also leaves his four grandchildren, Reagan and Sawyer Bjork, Colt Hinson and Hudson Stoner. He was preceded in death by his father John Carle Stoner and his mother Martha (Hannuksela) Stoner.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Wood River Baptist Church, 246 Kingstown Rd., Wyoming, RI. Burial will follow at Wood River Cemetery, Richmond. There will be no calling hours.
