Warren J. Jones, 74 of Wheeler Lane Hope Valley, RI died peacefully on Saturday, July 22, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Mary Jean (Yori) Jones.
Warren was born in Jersey City, NJ on September 19, 1942, he was the son of the late Warren and Adeline (Katrensky) Jones.
Warren worked for JohnCrane/Sealol for 40 years before retiring as Branch Operations Manager. After his retirement he enjoyed working around his home and spending time with his family. He was an avid bird watcher, loved to sing and play his guitar, he enjoyed his Classic Corvette, spending time in his yard but most of all he loved people and making them laugh.
Besides his beloved and devoted wife of 52 years he will be sadly missed by his children; Kim Reilly (Bill) of Richmond, RI, Kerri Jones (Bob) of Hope Valley, RI. He was the loving grandfather of McKenzie Reilly, Meghan Reilly and Cameron Lyons. He also leaves his eight sisters; Shirley, Teresa, Barbara, Marilyn, Linda, Suzanne, Patricia, Dolores and two brothers; Richard and Robert. He was predeceased by his two sisters; Arlene and Gloria.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 1105 Main St. Hope Valley, RI. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Rd #200, Framingham, MA 01701, (617) 482-4580.
