Susan M. Harvey

Susan M. (Browning) Harvey, 57 of Wood River Jct RI, passed on Friday morning, August 3, 2018, at the South County Hospital with her family by her side following a brief illness. She was the wife of Jeffrey D. Harvey. Born in Westerly, RI, April 2, 1961, she was predeceased by her parents and step-parents Roberta and Sam Poulin and Christopher and Florence Browning.

She leaves behind her beloved son JC (Jeffrey Charles) of Hope Valley and his friend Rhiannon and her three children. She also leaves behind eight siblings Herbert Browning of California, Nancy(Dean) Eckenroth of California, Bobbi Craig of Connecticut, Mike(Kathy) Browning of Ashaway, Pat(Linda) Browning of Narragansett, Dick(Jeanne) Browning of Hope Valley, Chris(Carrie) Browning of Virginia and John(Jeanne) Browning of Wood River Jct.

Sue leaves many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews whose heart she touched deeply. She graduated from Chariho High School and worked for Narragansett Reproductions, for many years, drove bus for the Chariho School district, worked for Kay Dee Designs , Dunkin Donuts and loved her work at Home InStead Senior Care as a caregiver for the elderly in their own homes. Sue was loved by many friends she had throughout her life, and loved the outdoors, being at the beach, in the mountains, camping and during the summer you could find her floating in her pool.

Calling hours are respectfully omitted. A celebration of life will be held on September 29, 2018, 4-8pm at the Bradford Citizens Club, 124 Woody Hill Rd, Bradford, RI 02808. Please bring your wonderful memories of Sue to share with her family and friends.
