Sonia Lee Sisson

Sonia Lee Sisson, 39, of Charlestown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Born in Westerly, RI, she was the daughter of Denise E. (Stone) Sisson and the late Lance T. Sisson.

Sonia loved listening to music and the company that would come with it. She was working with and learning Gemology and working it into jewelry. She worked off and on for a decade in a half in the restaurant industry.

She loved being in nature, gardening, a bonfire and the beach. Fond of owls, an athletic tomboy, lover of sports. Sonia had a very quick-witted sense of humor, she loved to crack jokes and make people laugh.

She loved family, friends and enjoyed collecting the written and photographed history of those events with them. She was oppositionality defiant, to smart for her own good and a rebel at heart. She will dearly missed, was loved by many and forever will be.

Besides her mother Denise, she leaves her son Aidan Joslin; brother Lance Sisson; niece Brianna Sisson all of Charlestown.

Funeral services will be held privately by the family. S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St., Hope Valley, RI is assisting the family with arrangements.
