Sheila M. Walsh

Sheila M. Walsh, 66, of Pawtucket, RI. Born on January 11, 1956 passed away June 18, 2022 at her home in Hopkinton, RI.

Daughter of Geraldine (Glynn) and Leo Donavan, mother of Mary Kay and Kerrie Walsh, grandmother of Keara, Kylie, Niaomi, Emily and Joseph. Former spouse of Joseph Walsh, and sister to Maureen and brother in-law Bill.

Sheila spent her earlier years in Cumberland, RI where she and Joseph raised their children. Sheila was a registered nurse for Our Lady of Fatima where she found joy in helping people. Sheila loved spontaneous adventures, writing, drawing and being outdoors playing in her garden.

She always had to have a fresh patch of plants or vegetable to play with come spring time. She loved hiking and relaxing on the beach with her bible in hand. She had a big heart and always willing to help a friend I need. Sheila became friends with Clint who referred to her as family and resided with him for 15 years. Sheila looked forward to vacationing in Maine with Sally and Clint (her best friends forever) where she could go mining for gems, sit around campfires and breathe in the mountain air. She cherished each day and lived in every moment.

Sheila’s sharp sense of humor and contagious laugh will forever be missed to those that knew her. She had a strong faith in God and gave all her worries to him knowing he will keep her safe.

A private burial was held at Pine Grove Cemetery.
