Russell Edward Creegan, 58, of West Kingston, passed away at home surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, May 30, 2022. He was the loving husband of Melissa Rae (Ackroyd) Creegan. Born in Waterbury, CT on November 14, 1963, he was the son of the late Edward and Alice (Edward) Creegan.
Russell worked as a Manager for Save-A-Lot for the past 13 years. He was an avid sports fan and loved playing them. He loved watching The Mets, Raiders and Nets but he especially loved watching his Boston Bruins. He loved spending time with his family, especially his yearly outings to Six Flags and Lake Compounce. He loved his trips to the Casinos, fishing, bird watching, campfires and board games. But most of all he loved his family.
Besides his wife Melissa, he leaves his children Russell Jr., Brian, Monica, Amanda, Aidan, and Liam Creegan, Kaitlyn Gardiner and her husband Joshua, and Zachary Davis.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Russell’s name to The Cancer Center at South County Hospital
Funeral services will be held privately by the family. S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St., Hope Valley, RI is assisting the family with arrangements.
