Rhoda (LeCour) Nutting, 77, of Carolina, RI, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by the love of her family on April 10, 2021. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Nutting, Jr. Born on November 10, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Edward LeCour and Pearl Cairnes.
Rhoda was a true housewife. There was nothing more she enjoyed then spending time with her family. She loved taking care of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to the Shannock Baptist Church on Sundays, family cookouts, and most importantly yard sales!
She leaves her companion Neil Shuster; her children, Valerie Knowles, Dean Nutting and wife Theresa Nutting, Justin Nutting and wife Jaime Nutting; her grandchildren, Crystal Rivera and husband Julio Rivera, Christopher Nutting, Tyler Nutting, Shane Nutting, Levi Nutting, Lilly Nutting; her great-grandchildren, Malaya Rivera and Cruz Rivera; her sibling, Sylvia Stanley; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Edward LeCour, Geraldine Timpson, and Mary Moore.

Walk through calling hours will be held Friday, April 16, 2021 from 6-8pm at S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St., Hope Valley, RI. Social distancing guidelines and other public health directives (i.e., use of facemasks) are in place.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10am at The Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Due to covid regulations the cemetery is only allowing 50 people inside the building.
