Raymond W. Coutcher, Jr., age 65, of Richmond, RI, passed away on September 1, 2017, and has gone home to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer.
A former employee for 34 years at Jay Printing Co. in Warwick, RI, who was also an avid golfer and wood-worker.
Son of Raymond W. Coutcher, Sr. and Mary W. Coutcher, both departed. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years and high school sweetheart, Cheryl-Ann (Fox) Coutcher and their three children; Danielle Scuncio (James), Joshua Coutcher (Hilary Teichert) and Keri Fines (Daniell Sr.) He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren whom he loved and thought the world of. He also leaves behind 2 sisters, Linda Langlois (Dennis) and Sue Collins and sister-in-laws, Mary Ann Stanfield, JoAnn Fox and Laurie George (Mike) and many nieces and nephews. His family wouldn't be complete without mentioning his dearly loved and sadly missed "Sammie" aka Poopy-Do.
A funeral home service will be held for Raymond on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11 AM at S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank Street, Hope Valley, RI. Burial will follow in Wood River Cemetery, Richmond. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, September 5 from 4-7 PM.
