Tribute

Philip Alfred Fahlman, 67, of Wood River Junction, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday May 22, 2018. He leaves his loving wife Roberta Dorothy (Molten) Fahlman. Born in Providence on March 23, 1951, he was the son of Doris Evelyn (Belmont) Fahlman and the late Conrad Philip Fahlman.

Phil was a proud graduate of WPI receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry. He was a member of Sigma Pi and also was a collegiate athlete participating in numerous sports to include lacrosse and football. After college, he had a successful career at Carroll Products in Wood River Junction and as a supervisor at Hoechst Celanese Corporation. Phil served as a Past Master of the Masons at the Charity Lodge No. 23 in Charlestown and also was a member of St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church. He kept active not only with his organizations but also loved the outdoors especially riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles all over the country to include attending the annual Harley birthday party in Milwaukee along with sailing, fishing and just tinkering around the yard. Most of all, he loved his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Besides his loving wife Roberta, he leaves his son Eric Fahlman and daughter Diedra Enos and her husband Brian; his grandchildren Rayanne Enos, Nicole Enos, Allison Enos, Rebecca Dieter, Caleb Maldonado, Evan Fahlman, Aidan Fahlman, Tanner Schubert, Harley Schubert and Isiah Diiorio; brothers Peter Fahlman and his wife Paula and Paul Fahlman and his wife Sandy; daughter-in-law Sarah Schubert; sister-in-laws Linda Hangeland and her husband Bob and Vicki Molten; nephew Alex Fahlman; and nieces Kristen Domingo and Sherise Molten and nephew Robert Molten. He was preceded in death by his children Adam Parmentier and Danielle Dieter, a brother-in-law Robert Molten and a nephew Michael Hangeland.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00p.m. to 7:00pm. on Friday, May 25, 2018 at the S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St. Hope Valley. Funeral services will be held the following day on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial at White Brook Cemetery, Richmond.
