Peter John Letterle

Peter John Letterle, 46, of Groton, CT passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at his home. Born on May 2, 1972 in Westerly, RI, he was the son of Paul and Patricia Sue (Palmer) Santerre.

Peter worked as a high stakes poker dealer at Foxwoods Casino for over 10 years. Previously he worked at Moores Mill and the Ocean House Marina. Peter enjoyed a lot of outdoor activities including fishing, playing soccer, mountain biking, and skiing. Peter had a great passion for woodworking and was very talented. His gentle demeanor with animals led him to work with horses as well as train dogs. Peter had a kind heart and loved all of his family.

He is survived by sisters; Nancy Faubert of Westerly, RI and Jennifer Federici of Canaan, ME, his brother; Brian Santerre of West Warwick, RI and several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed.

Calling hours will be held at S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St. Hope Valley, RI on Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 2:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 11:00a.m. at the funeral home.
