Meredith E. Taylor

Meredith E. (Vadakin) Taylor, 78, of Tomaquag, Rd. Bradford, RI, died after a courageous battle with heart disease on Sunday April 16, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Robert L. Taylor Sr.

Born in Westerly, RI on June 17, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Ella Mary (James) Vadakin.

Meredith had a long and distinguished career selling Real Estate throughout, Rhode Island and southern Connecticut. She attended the Dunns Corner Community Presbyterian Church in Westerly and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Kenyon, RI. She also loved spending time at her home with her dogs and will be missed by her beloved dog Halle.

Besides her loving and devoted husband she will be sadly missed by her two sons, Robert L. Taylor Jr. and Kenneth Taylor both of Ashaway, RI. She also leaves her brother James “Jimmy” Vadakin and his wife Linda of Bradford. She was the loving grandmother of Raymond, Stephen and Molly and great grandmother of Natalie and Amelia Meredith.

The Taylor family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday from 5-7 PM at the S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St, Hope Valley, RI. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home, burial will follow in Wood River Cemetery, Richmond, RI.
