Louise J. Dumsar Christensen

Louise (Hines) Dumsar-Christensen, age 80 passed away peacefully at Kent Hospital on March 18, 2018. Born in Bronx, NY, she ultimately settled in the Westerly and Hope Valley areas with final residence in West Greenwich, RI.

Louise enjoyed crocheting and was a very crafty lady. She also enjoyed traveling with her family and playing Bingo. Most importantly, she loved her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband Robert Christensen, son David Dumsar and wife Kellie and his children Anthony and Kayla; step-daughters Carolyn Flynn and her children Elizabeth and Catherine; and Jodi Gaccione and her children Joshua, Krista, Jared and Adrianna along with one great-grandchild Quinten. She was predeceased by a son Michael Dumsar.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St. in Hope Valley. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
