Karen Lynn Greene

Karen Lynn Greene, 65, of Hope Valley, passed away unexpectedly due to an accident on Monday, August 7, 2023. Born in Warwick, RI on April 16, 1958, she was the daughter of Wallace Brayman and the late Judy (Denton) Brayman.

Karen worked for Imperial Wallpaper in Ashaway RI right out of high school until it’s closing in 1998, then went on to work for Amtrol in Warwick RI, until an illness in 2016 when she could no longer work.

Karen was an extremely hard worker, but also knew how to live life. She enjoyed spending holidays with family and was a lover of dogs, having many over the years which she adored. Her latest pride and joy was Mikey, a Yorkshire terrier whom she loved to take for walks.

Karen leaves behind her children, Alicia Botka of Warwick, RI, Brandon Culpepper and Megan Culpepper both of Cleveland Ohio 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Karen also leaves behind 4 siblings. Debra Wilcox (Dave), Gary Brayman (Lisa), Laura Gavitt (Scott), Bruce Brayman (Jill), many nieces and nephews, and 2 god children David Palmer, and Carrie Kenyon.

Calling hours will be held from 10:30am to 12:00pm noon on Tuesday August 15, 2023, at S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St., Hope Valley, RI.

Following the calling hours, all are invited to follow in procession to Wood River Cemetery for the service at 12:30pm with committal prayers.
