John W. Pucher

John W. Pucher, 89, of Charlestown, RI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2022. John was born on February 13, 1933 in Peekskill, NY to the late John and Margaret (Albrecht) Pucher.
John was a school bus driver for many years. He also was a member of the American Legion and a communicant at St. Mary’s Parish in Carolina, RI. In 2016 John converted to Judaism and became a member of Temple Emanu-El in Providence. He attended quite regularly until his illness kept him from doing so. Even recently, he attended Sabbath services with friends.

John was a proud marine who served during the Korean War.

John leaves behind his son William Pucher and daughter Deborah Ann LaRosa, his step-son Daniel Ryan III, and his dear friend John Wayrynen, Jr. along with his 3 grandchildren.

Calling hours are respectfully omitted, committal services will be held on December 22 at 10AM at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail. All are invited to gather at the administration building at the cemetery 15 minutes prior to the service.
