John G. Foster

John G. Foster, 82 of Charlestown, RI died peacefully on March 15, 2022 after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Ethel (Mallory) Foster.
Born in Warwick, RI on September 18, 1939 he was the son of the late William W. and Juliet (Parent) Foster.
John had been a dedicated Truck Driver and Mechanic for Tomaquag Valley Milk Transport and Farm for over 40 years before retiring.
He loved listening Johnny Cash music and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. He also enjoyed attending the Washington County Fair every year.
Besides his wife of over 58 years he will be sadly missed by his children, Barbara Burgert (Eric) of West Warwick, RI, John G. Foster (Kathy) of Rockville, RI and Kevin P. Foster of Charlestown. He also leaves his grandchildren, Shane Burgert and Clayton Foster and his sister and brothers, Ruth James, Raymond Foster, Amos Foster and William Foster.
The Foster family will greet family and friends from 6-8 PM at the S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St. Hope Valley, RI on Wednesday March 23, 2022. Funeral service and burial will be private.
