John Thomas Dufficy, Sr.

John Thomas Dufficy, Sr., 86, of Richmond, RI died peacefully on Thursday July 8, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Dohring) Dufficy.
Born in Hamilton, OH on August 4, 1934 he was the son of the late John T. and Anne (Johnson) Dufficy.
Tom was an Insurance Agent for Prudential Life Insurance for many years before retiring. He was also very active in many civic organizations throughout the Chariho Community.
Besides his loving and devoted wife of 65 years he will be sadly missed by his 6 children, John T Dufficy, Jr.( Wife Kelly) ,Michael E Dufficy (wife Marianne),Patricia A Dufficy ,James Dufficy (wife Lauren),Mary L Caswell (husband Richard) ,Mark (Lou) D Dufficy (wife Kimberly) 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He also leaves his sister, Judith D. Capizzano (Leonard) and he was predeceased by his brother Michael F. Dufficy.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Tuesday July 13, 2021 at 11 Am at White Brook Cemetery, Pine Hill Road, Richmond, RI. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
