James A. Jessop III

James A. Jessop III, 80, of Colonial Drive Westerly, RI died peacefully on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Beverly I. (Riley) Jessop.
Born in Westerly, RI on April 17, 1938 he was the son of the late James A. and Doris (Vacca) Jessop.
Mr. Jessop had been a Mechanic for many years working at the former Auto Village and Coachman Auto before retiring.
Jim was a member of the Bradford Citizens Club and was an avid hunter, fisherman. He also enjoyed wood working and spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
Besides his wife he will be sadly missed by his children; Joseph A. Jessop of Ashaway, Scott Jessop of Colorado, James A. Jessop IV, of Mystic CT, and Timothy Jessop of Groton, CT. He was the loving grandfather of Dylan, Devan, Evin, Callie and Alisha. He also leaves his sister; Mary Borroughs of Pawcatuck, CT and his brother; William Jessop. He was predeceased by his sisters; Virginia Jessop, Madeline Markin and his brother Donald Jessop.
Funeral service and burial will be private and calling hours are respectfully omitted.
