Gladys Tripp

Gladys I. Tripp, 89, of Coventry, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. She was the wife of the late Russell M. Tripp. Born in Westerly, RI on October 24, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ethel (Barber) Palmer.

Gladys was a hard-working homemaker and she worked in several lace mills throughout her career. She retired after working at Kent Hospital. She was devoted to her family and friends. She especially loved horses and feeding wild birds.

She leaves her daughter Marilyn G. Gaudiano of Coventry, Rhode Island; grandson Leonard L. Gaudiano III of Coventry, Rhode Island; great-grandson Cage N. Gaudiano of Missouri; her sister Ethyl (Palmer) Brayman of Exeter, Rhode Island; sister-in-law Janice Palmer of Exeter, Rhode Island; two nieces of Coventry, Rhode Island.
