Estelle Marie Roberts

Estelle Marie Roberts of Wood River Junction died peacefully surrounded by family on 4/13/22.

Estelle Roberts was born in Westerly, Rhode Island, in 1946. She has since made Rhode Island her home. Everyone who knew her, knew her zest for life along with her strength and determination being some of her greatest qualities. She was always there for those who needed her. She was a very crafty person who loved to paint, crochet and draw. Some of her past times included gardening. She also loved to grow tomato plants and sunflowers they were some of her favorites. Family was the most important thing to her and she loved spending time having cookouts, fishing and going to the County fair. She loved animals especially her companion Bella.

She leaves seven of her eight children Jeffrey Poole of Pennsylvania, Darla Dwire of Rhode Island, Dale Roberts of Rhode Island, Dawn Boisclair of Rhode Island, Grover Roberts of Rhode Island, Chris Roberts of Washington, Corey Roberts of Rhode Island and Sean Roberts of Rhode Island; a grandmother of 16 and a great-grandmother of 20 great-grandbabies.

Proceeded in death by her mother Elizabeth Joan Kenyon and father Ray Elton Kenyon; her sister Elizabeth Joan Brown, her sister Eileen Mercurio and her sister Ellen Sherman; along with her son Dale Lynn Roberts; her grandson Seth Boisclair and her ex-husband Grover Cleveland Roberts, III.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 11:30am to 1pm at the S.R. Avery Funeral Home 3A Bank St., Hope Valley, RI. A celebration of Estelle’s life and sharing of memories will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Committal services will be held at the convenience of the family.
