Dorothy M. Hoffman

Dorothy M. (Kenyon) Hoffman, 90, wife of the late Earl E. Hoffman, of South Kingstown, RI passed away peacefully on April 8, 2021, at the Westerly Hospital, Westerly, RI. Dorothy was born on May 5, 1930 in Hope Valley, RI, daughter of the late Laura (Gardiner) Kenyon and Robert Dallas Woodmansee.
A lifetime homemaker, Dottie enjoyed crafting, cake decorating, traveling and being with her family and friends.
The youngest and last of her siblings, Mrs. Hoffman was sister to the late Winthrop “Cappie” Kenyon, Sr. (Hattie) of Hope Valley, RI; Beatrice Riffenburg (Frederick) of Hope Valley, RI; Evelyn Kenyon; Freida Wright (John) of North Kingstown, RI; Vincent Kenyon; Marion Hope Hoffman (Francis) of Florida; Helen Cahoon Guthrie (William) of Alton, RI and Hiram Kenyon (Evelyn) of Matunuck, RI.
She is survived by her son Paul E. Hoffman and son-in-law Duane J. Costa of Rio Rico, AZ; her daughter Wendy G. Asting of South Kingstown, RI; her granddaughter Bonnie Smith (Christopher) and her two great grandchildren, Izik and Izabelle Prucha of Peace Dale, RI. She was also the mother of the late Gary E. Hoffman of Wyoming, RI. Dottie also leaves behind countless nieces and nephews. No memorial service is planned at this time.
