David L. Lewis

David Lewis, 71 of Exeter, RI lost his battle with Dementia on July 17, 2021.

David was a dedicated teacher at Scituate High School for over 25 years until he retired. He then continued his love of teaching at Exeter West Greenwich High School for a short time after. David was an active and passionate member of the Rhode Island chapter of the Future Farmers of America (FFA). He enjoyed farming, the Washington County Fair and spending time with friends and family.

Besides his wife Martha Lewis, he leaves behind his son Kyle Lewis and his wife Jennifer, his daughter Melissa Sheehan and her husband Michael, 4 loving grandchildren, his sister Ann Maher and many other friends and family.

Calling hours will be held from 4-6pm on Tuesday August 3, 2021 at the S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank Street, Hope Valley RI.
