Bruce Alan Cornell

Bruce A. Cornell of Hopkinton passed away peacefully at Yale New Haven on November 21, 2022 at the age of 66. He was born February 28, 1956, the son of John Cornell, Jr. and Charlotte Haskell. He is survived by his wife Linda Matteson, his children Adam Cornell and Cara Riley, his sisters Leora Grohocki, Kathy Allore and Kristine Cornell as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bruce was a talented carpenter and enjoyed playing his guitar.

At his request, there will be no services. Think of him when you hear Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Free Bird.
