Barbara L. (Gould) Boss, 66, of Wendy Lane Carolina, RI, died peacefully on Thursday November 16, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Bradley Boss
Born in South Kingstown, RI on November 1, 1957 she was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Smith) Gould.
Barbara had been a C.N.A at the former Allen’s Nursing Home and went on to work at Green Plastics in Hope Valley for over 21 years.
Besides her loving and devoted husband of 50 years she will be sadly missed by her two children, Jason Boss of Wood River Jct. and Amy Boss of Carolina, RI. She was the loving grandmother of, Craig, Morgan, Marisa, Maggie, Tristan and Lexi and great grandmother of Tyler, Arora and Quentin. She also leaves her brothers and sisters, John Gould, Roberta Duquette, Sally Dworacek, Dorothy Doane, Tag Gould and Teresa Lepore. She was predeceased by her grandson John Ansay Jr. and her sisters Mary Ellen Ottem, Frances Lee and brother Jimmy Gould.
Barbara will be remembered for being the Rock and Caretaker to her family and patients. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed many camping adventures with them. She also loved to cook and loved watching her cooking shows on TV.
The Boss family would like to thank all her family and friends that help care for Barbara throughout her illness.
The Boss family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday November 21, 2023 from 10-12 with a funeral service starting at noon at the S.R. Avery Funeral Home, Main St. Hope Valley, RI. Burial will follow in White Brook Cemetery, Carolina, RI.
