Tribute

Amos Smith Burdick, III of Westerly, RI passed away peacefully on March 4, 2024. He was the son of the late Amos Smith Burdick, Jr. and Margaret June (Kessler) Burdick. Amos was a United States Navy Veteran. He dedicated 38 years of his life to working and running Burlingame State Park, a job he truly enjoyed.

Amos is survived by his brother Thomas Burdick of Charlestown, Sisters Cindy Bentley of hope Valley, Cathy Moiser of Exeter, and Margery Coon of Charlestown, stepmother Arlene, stepsisters Debbie and Ellen Santi, his companion Caroline (Peabody) LaChapelle, two stepchildren David and Lisa and many nieces and nephews.

Amos was predeceased by his three sisters Carol, Mary and Bonnie.

The family would like to thank the Westerly Hospital and Beacon Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 16, 2024 from 1-3pm at the Meadowbrook Inn, 168 Carolina Back Road, Charlestown, RI
