Albert S. Ring, 65, of Main Street, Hope Valley, R.I., died peacefully on Friday, July 20, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Burdick) Ring.
Al was born in South Kingstown, R.I. on March 19, 1953. He was the son of the late Lee R. and Barbara Ann (Lewis) Ring.
Mr. Ring had been employed at Kenyon Piece Dye Works for many years and as a well driller for Joslin Well and Pump.
Al was an active member and past president of the Bradford Social Club. He also enjoyed going to the casinos, fishing, and singing karaoke.
Besides his wife, he will be sadly missed by his three daughters, Tonya Jacobson (Patrick), of Charlestown, R.I., Tammy Bestwick-Dinwoodie (Jeffrey), of Ashaway, R.I., and Destiny Ring, of Ohio. He also leaves his sister, Susan Durfee; and his brother, Michael Ring; and his grandchildren, Bridget, Drew, Annika, and William.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 25 at the S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St,. from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral service and burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Ashaway, will be private.
