Patricia A. Tiernan

Patricia A. (Ekiert) Tiernan, 69, of Old Mountain Trail, Richmond, RI passed away at home on Saturday, December 4, 2021.

Born in Providence, RI, on September 26, 1952, she was the wife of the late Robert F. Tiernan, Sr. for 45 years. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Martino) Ekiert.

Patricia had worked for over 30 years as a housekeeper for the University of Rhode Island.

She is survived by two children Sheri A. Menard of Warwick, RI and Robert F. Tiernan, Jr. and his wife Heidi of Richmond, RI; two sisters Catherine Ekiert and Susan Ryan and her husband Howard; five precious grandchildren; wonderful nieces and nephews and friends and in-laws.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 10:00am at St. Joseph’s Church, 1105 Main St., Hope Valley, RI. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Greenwich, RI. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia’s memory may be made to the Autism Project of Rhode Island, 1516 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI 02919.
