Norman G. Gardiner, 75 of Victory Highway, Exeter, RI died Friday June 9, 2017.
Born in Westerly, RI on July 23, 1941 he was the son of the late Chester A. and Hazel (Clarke) Gardiner.
Mr. Gardiner worked for the State of Rhode Island for the Department of Transportation for many years before retiring.
Norman enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and attending car shows.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Maryann Gardiner and her husband Ray Garcia of Lawrence, MA. He was the loving grandfather of Aaron Garcia. He also leaves his sister, Bette Crossen Leary of Charlestown, RI. He was the brother of the late Chester A. Gardiner Jr.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St. Hope Valley, RI a calling hour will precede the services from 10 to 11. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich, RI.
