Melissa L. Thompson

Melissa L. Thompson, 34 of Charlestown passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 7, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Karen (Ellis) Thompson who passed away on March 18, 2017 and the late Robert S. Thompson who predeceased her in October 2016.

She is survived by her brother Joshua Thompson of Charlestown. She also leaves her grandfather Robert Thompson of Ohio, three aunts Susan (Bob) Barney, Allison (Mike) Blau of Ohio and Lisa (Ellis) Ratkowski of Ohio and one uncle Richard (Denise) Ellis of Ohio.

Melissa was a graduate of the Chariho class of 2001 and was a waitress in numerous restaurants. Melissa will always be remembered for her sparkling blue eyes and beautiful smile. She will also be remembered for her infectious laugh and her love of animals.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. S. R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St., Hope Valley is assisting the family with arrangements.
