Guy Angell Waterman, 52, of Coventry, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Kent Hospital surrounded by family. Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late Dorothy M. Robitaille (Lowell) and the late Steven Gould.
Guy lived his life in the fast lane each and every day ensuring that he lived a life of joy and fun. Back in the day, he loved running, playing pin ball at the local pizza shop, and spending time with his dog Maui. Everyone knew he had a “good green thumb”. Guy enjoyed spending his time driving around, visiting friends and attending concerts. He loved animals, fast cars, riding his 4-wheeler, arm wrestling, playing guitar and listening to Rock N’ Roll. Guy had a knack for photography and took remarkable photos, especially of scenery and sunsets. He dreamed of the day that he could vacation in Hawaii but still loved the nature of Rhode Island. He especially enjoyed the trails in Arcadia and the oceans many beaches. Guy was a friend to all and he loved his family and friends very much. He cherished every relationship and will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.
He is survived by his son Timothy Brayman and his wife Katherine; his siblings Calvin Waterman and wife Donna, Dean Waterman and Dale Gerritsen; his nieces and nephews Corey Salemi, Jill Shappy, Calvin Waterman Jr., Dean Waterman Jr, and Nicole Waterman along with his great-nieces and great-nephews that think the world of him.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St. in Hope Valley. A brief remembrance service will be held at 6:45 p.m. Burial will be held privately.
