Donald Flint, 70 of Shannock, RI passed away surrounded by his family on February 13, 2017 at his home.
Don was a machinist at Fisher Controls (Posi-Seal) for 32 years before switching to drive truck for EB before his retirement in 2014. In his youth he was a Boy Scout becoming a 7th rank Eagle Scout for Troop 1 Richmond. Don’s passion for Antique cars grew from childhood up to the day he passed. He was a coach for Chariho Little League, a creative writer and a crafty sole, as well as an avid Red Sox fan.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Suzanne (Kenney) Flint and his five children and their spouses: Dustin Flint, Derek Flint (Enid), DeAnne Anderson (David), Dawn Winters (Joel) and Donna Sunderland (Scott). Along with 7 grandchildren whom he adored: Joshua and Jaden Flint, Jefferey Flint, Jeremy and Jonathon Winters, Kara Beth Anderson and Easton Sunderland. He leaves many special family members and close friends. He is predeceased by his parents Henry & Rose Flint and his brother Ronald Flint.
