Deborah Vogelpohl, 61, of Westerly Rhode Island was called home to be with the Lord on December 9, 2016 after a long and courageous battle of a neurological disease.

Deborah was born in Warwick, RI on April 8, 1955 to her parents Kay F. & Charles S. Cummiskey.  She graduated from North Kingstown High School in 1973. She later went on to earn her college degree in computer sciences from New England Tech while working at Ocean Pharmacy.  She put her computer skills to work working at Intap, CVS and Computer Science Corporation.  Deborah made it a hobby with her father, traveling to computer shows and rebuilding computers.

Deborah's greatest achievement above all was becoming a mother to her three beautiful daughters, Ann, Lynn and Sara.  While raising her children , Deborah was heavily involved in activities that surrounded her girls.  Being a girl scout leader, religious education teacher, member of the PTO and various groups at St. Joseph's Church.  Deborah had a passion for music in which she taught guitar lessons and made guest appearances in the local preschool and elementary schools.

Later in life her biggest pride and joys were her grandchildren; Sean, Daniel and Jackson.  While her time may have been cut short fulfilling her dream of being a grandmother, Grammy has left a profound impact of love and memories with her grandsons.

Deborah is proceeded by her mother Kay Cummiskey and grandmother Teresa Jackson.  She is survived by her Father Charles Cummiskey Sr.,  children Ann Robertson Spouse Donald Robertson, Lynn Belanger Spouse David Belanger, Sara Vogelpohl.  Sister Cindy Lebo spouse Christopher Lebo, brother Charles Cummiskey Jr. spouse Charlotte Cummiskey.  Grandchildren Sean Robertson, Daniel Robertson and Jackson Belanger.  Along with several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Deborah to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of Rhode Island 1085 North Main Street Providence RI 02904  ph. 401-415-4200.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday December 13, 2016 5-8pm at Avery Funeral Home 3A Bank Street Hope Valley, RI.  Funeral mass Wednesday December 14, 2016 10am St. Joseph's Catholic Church  1105 Main Street Hope Valley followed by a Catholic burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery 959 Nooseneck Hill Road West Greenwich.
