Anthony Charles Mercurio

Anthony “Tony” Charles Mercurio, 80, of Hope Valley, RI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the husband of the late Eileen Mary (Kenyon) Mercurio. Born in East Greenwich, RI on July 5, 1943, he is the son of the late Michael Joseph and Mary Joan (Caldamone) Mercurio.

Tony was best known for his great sense of humor and giving heart. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him well.

He is survived by his children, Angelo Mercurio and Angela Barnes; grandchildren, Emily Barnes and Diana Mercurio; brother, Michael Mercurio and his wife Patty. He was preceded in death by his daughter Barbara Mercurio.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 65 Third Street, East Greenwich, RI.

A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:30 PM at the Hope Valley Grange, 1116 Main Street, Hope Valley, RI.
